  • How do I login to the virtual conference?
    The Username is your email provided at registration. The Password is your reference number. Virtual Platform Link - https://na.eventscloud.com/ereg/ve2/index.php?eventid=733381
  • How do I get my CME?
    Once you have completed watching ALL desired sessions, visit https://med.unr.edu/cme/nvpsych to complete your evaluation surveys. *Participants are required to scan their badge each day (in-person) and/or view the lectures online (virtual) and complete an evaluation in order to receive a certificate. *Once you have completed the evaluation, you will be directed to the credit claim form after you click the “next” button on the final page of the evaluation. *After completing the credit claim form and clicking “next”, your certificate will display, and you will be able to save or print your certificate by placing or hovering your mouse cursor in the top right corner of the pdf window and using the icons that drop down. *To receive an emailed copy of your certificate, click the “submit” button below the certificate window. Please check your “junk” or “spam” folder if you do not see the email in your inbox. Certificates will come from cme@med.unr.edu Attendees are able to save their progress day to day in the course evaluations by using the “Save and Continue Later” feature of the evaluation survey website. This feature is located at the bottom of the page and attendees will be required to enter an email address and click “Save” to proceed. Once complete, a link will be sent that will allow the attendee to return to their responses within the survey. The email containing the return link will be sent from Alchemer - noreply@alchemer.com. After completing the online evaluation, attendees of the Psychopharmacology Update will be able to complete an ungraded 25 question self-assessment test to claim up to 25.5 MOC credits. The online evaluation will remain open until May 17, 2024. Please complete the evaluation and claim your CE or CME prior to this date.   • When will I get my CME?

  • How much CME is offered?
    The maximum number of CME credits an attendee can earn at the virtual event is 32 credits. The maximum number of CME credits an attendee can earn at the in-person event is 33.5 credits. ​ 8 for the Psychedelics in Psychiatry & Mental Health Pre-Conference (Virtual and In-Person)​ 24 for the Psychopharmacology Update (Virtual and In-Person) 1.5 for the Piano Concert and Lecture by Dr. Richard Kogan (In-Person Only)
  • How long will the lectures be available for?
    All sessions can be viewed for CME credit for up to 90 days after the event. Sessions must be viewed, and CME Evaluations must be completed by May 17, 2024.
  • How do I access the Mobile App?
    To Access the app search “Aventri Events App” in app store and use code 838331 to enter. Login with your email as the username and reference number as the password.
  • Does the virtual platform track my attendance?
    Yes, participants are required to scan their badge each day (in-person) and/or view the lectures online (virtual) and complete an evaluation in order to receive a certificate. The CME office will be provided attendance records from the event.
  • Can I still register for the 2024 NPA Update?
    Yes, you can register online at https://na.eventscloud.com/2024update or email us to modify your existing registration.
  • Can I update my existing registration?
    Yes, we can add any sessions, however we cannot remove or cancel any sessions at this time. For cancellation requests, email registration@nvpsychiatry.org.
  • Will I get the syllabus materials?
    All attendees have access to the digital syllabus online. If you registered for the virtual event prior to 1/5/2024 and purchased materials, your syllabus materials were mailed to you at the address provided during registration. If you registered for the in-person event prior to 1/5/2024 and purchased materials, your materials were mailed to the venue and you can pick them up at the registration desks. If you switched to the virtual platform after 1/5/2024 and purchased materials, you will not be mailed your syllabus materials. You can purchase new materials directly through the distributer at: https://store.omnipress.com/npa.html
  • How do I access the digital syllabus websites?
    The digital syllabus links are found directly on the virtual platform and mobile app. They can also be accessed through the links below. https://2024npaprecon.conferencespot.org/ https://2024npaupdate.conferencespot.org/ Attendees can download all of the content in the digital syllabus sites through the EZ Download link. This can be found under the More Information section on the websites.
  • Where can I buy a printed syllabus?
    Syllabus materials can be purchased directly through the distributer at: https://store.omnipress.com/npa.html
  • How do I participate in Q&A?
    You can participate in Q&A live on the virtual platform or mobile app. The virtual platform has a side bar on the left side of the screen which has a module for Q&A. Make sure you are in the correct session and you can type your questions for the moderators to review there.
  • Why aren’t the moderators asking my questions?
    NPA moderators receive hundreds of great questions from audience members at the event. With the limited time provided, they are forced to choose only a few questions to ask and are not able to get to all the questions. Even some of the highest voted questions may not be able to be answered due to time constraints and may be too technical or difficult to explain in a short amount of time.
  • What lectures are Product Theaters?
    The product theater lectures are held during mealtimes at the events. Any lectures from 7-8am, 12:15-1:30pm, or 6-7pm PST are product theater lectures. These lectures will not be recorded and are only available to view live during the scheduled session times.
  • Are Product Theater Lectures worth CME?
    No, the product theater lectures do not offer CME.
  • Can I register for the next year?
    Yes! If your register for 2025 during the 2024 conference dates of February 14-17, 2024 you will receive $100 off your conference registration! You can register online at: https://na.eventscloud.com/2025update
  • Will there be a virtual event next year?
    Yes, we are offering the 2025 NPA Update Conference as a hybrid event.
  • Can I get a discount?
    The only discounts we offer for the event are APA member, NPA member, and resident/student discounts. We do not currently have any discounts for retired practitioners, government workers, PMHNP students, seniors, military, etc.
  • Can I get a refund/can I cancel my registration?
    The last day to cancel for a refund was January 5, 2024. The committee takes cancellation requests on a case-by-case basis with documentation. Please submit your cancellation request with any supporting documentation to registration@nvpsychiatry.org.
